Getting Started

How does Mad Giant work?

We agree one priority service and conversion goal, prepare 4-6 finished ads across 2-3 distinct concepts and one matching landing page initially. Suitable photos of your actual work are preferred, with optional branded overlays. Placement sizes are included. You approve ads before launch; we run a budget-appropriate selection and introduce up to 4 monthly refresh variations when needed. Up to 1 short asset-based video edit per month is included when your material is suitable. AI-generated video is not included.

Do I need a Facebook ad account?

Yes, but if you don't have one, it takes about 10 minutes to set up. We have a step-by-step setup guide that walks you through the whole process. You can find it at madgiant.marketing/setup-guide.

How soon will I see leads?

Timing depends on account setup, Meta review, your offer, market and approved budget. Results and lead costs are not guaranteed. Small budgets may take longer to produce useful evidence.

What trades do you support?

Plumbers, electricians, roofers, HVAC, painters, landscapers, general contractors, cleaners, pest control, garage door, fencing, concrete, remodelers, window installers, flooring, solar, and more. If your trade isn't listed, reach out and we'll add it.

Pricing & Billing

How much does Mad Giant cost?

Three plans, month to month: Ads $299/mo, Ads + Google profile $399/mo (saves $29/mo), or Google profile only $129/mo. Plans with the Google profile include 1 location; extra locations are $49/mo each. Annual billing gets 2 months free. Cancel anytime. No contract, no setup fee. You pay Meta directly for ad spend (your card goes straight on Meta, we never touch your ad budget). The first $1,500/mo of ad spend you manage has no fee. Above that, we take 10% of the spend over $1,500/mo, capped at $2,500/mo, so your bill always stays predictable. Extra Google locations are $49/mo each, added any time from your dashboard. Running ads for several locations? Email enterprise@madgiant.marketing and we'll put together something custom.

What do you mean by "ad spend under management"?

It's the total you spend on Meta ads through your connected ad account each calendar month. You pay Meta directly (we never touch the money), Mad Giant just tracks the total. The first $1,500/mo carries no fee. Above $1,500/mo we add 10% of the overage (capped at $2,500/mo so the bill stays predictable). We never shut anything off, your campaigns keep running no matter how much you spend.

How many campaigns should I run?

Usually start with one consolidated prospecting ad set for the same service, geography and goal. Below $20/day, start with 2-3 live ads across 2 concepts; $20-50/day, 3-4 ads across 2-3 concepts; $50-100/day, 4-6 ads across 3 concepts; above $100/day, start with 4-6 and expand with evidence. These are starting guidelines, not Meta requirements. Expected lead cost and client economics matter more than the bands. Additional services and campaigns need agreed scope.

Who pays for the ad spend?

You pay Meta (Facebook) directly. Your credit card goes on your own Meta ad account, and Meta charges you for ad spend. Mad Giant never touches your ad money, we only charge the platform subscription separately through Stripe.

How much should I spend on ads?

Agree an affordable lead cost from your economics: allowable acquisition cost per booked job multiplied by lead-to-job conversion rate. Use actual figures where available and label assumptions otherwise. Choose a budget that can support useful evidence. Media spend is separate and any total budget increase requires your approval.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No contracts, no commitments. Cancel from your account settings or email hello@madgiant.marketing. Your ad account and leads are always yours.

Do you offer any kind of guarantee?

Yes. If we don't deliver leads in your first 30 days running Mad Giant, your second month is on us. We track this from the day your campaign goes ACTIVE on Meta (not from signup). Eligibility requirements apply. Full terms at madgiant.marketing/guarantee.

Do you have a referral program?

Yes, refer another contractor and both of you save $100. Your friend gets $100 off their first month; you get a $100 Stripe credit on their first paid invoice. Grab your referral link from Settings once you're signed up.

Territory & Exclusivity

What is Territory Lock?

Mad Giant gives each contractor an exclusive radius around their business. No competing contractor in your same trade can advertise through Mad Giant within your territory. We will not create overlapping campaigns. Your area, your leads. First come, first served.

How big is my territory?

Your plan includes an exclusive territory with a radius adjusted to your market, about 20 miles in a city, up to about 35 miles in rural areas where homes are more spread out. If you want more reach, you can add Metro (35 miles) for +$99/mo or Regional (50 miles, Meta's maximum) for +$199/mo. The minimum is 15 miles to match Meta's Special Ads Category targeting requirements.

Why does my trade get a different radius recommendation?

Different trades travel different distances, and so does the area. Lawn care and cleaning are tight-radius because the job value is low, drive time kills margin. Big-ticket and specialty trades (roofing, HVAC, solar, remodeling, excavation) reach further because a $10,000 job justifies a longer drive. We also widen the radius in rural areas where homes are spread out and tighten it in dense cities. Our onboarding wizard picks a starting recommendation based on your trade and your market, and you can always override it with the slider.

What if my area is already taken?

If another contractor in your trade has an overlapping territory, we'll show you the maximum radius you can claim without conflict. If there's no room (competitor is too close), try a different location, or add yourself to the waitlist and we'll email you if they cancel. Territories are first come, first served.

Ads

Can I see my ads before they go live?

Yes. Every ad goes through our Ad Preview Studio where you can approve, reject, or request changes before it runs. You're always in control of what represents your business.

Do the ads get smarter over time?

We review recorded results and client-reported enquiry quality. Meta allocates delivery unevenly, so ongoing optimisation is observational and cannot establish a causal winner. A controlled A/B experiment needs an isolated hypothesis, planned budget and measurement window, with enough traffic to learn.

How do you prevent ad fatigue?

We preserve working ads and refresh selectively when qualified lead cost deteriorates, the message becomes stale or a useful new concept is available. Up to 4 additional finished variations per month is a capacity allowance, not a replacement schedule. For small budgets we usually introduce one challenger at a time.

Do you react to weather events like storms?

Yes, and nothing runs without your OK. Every hour we check National Weather Service warnings and storm reports against your service area. When hail, damaging wind, a hard freeze or extreme heat or cold hits and it matters for your trade, we text and email you. If you've set up storm ads (you review them once, Facebook approves them, and they wait switched off), one tap turns them on with a daily budget you choose, and they stop on their own after 3 to 7 days.

Are the ads compliant with Facebook's rules?

We review campaign category, targeting and creative requirements for the actual service advertised. Platform safeguards support that review, but Meta makes approval and account-enforcement decisions. No service can guarantee approval or protection from account restrictions.

Leads & Reporting

How do I get notified about new leads?

Connected lead sources feed the inbox inside Mad Giant. SMS alerts require sender approval, configuration and applicable consent. Delivery timing and availability depend on the channel.

What is lead scoring?

Contact-validation signals can help prioritise follow-up, but a score does not prove job quality. Record enquiry, valid contact, qualified opportunity, estimate or appointment and booked-job outcomes where available. Raw lead cost and qualified lead cost answer different questions; missing outcomes remain unknown.

What kind of reports do I get?

Weekly email reports in plain English, spend, leads, cost per lead, and what's working. You also get monthly AI strategy reports with specific recommendations, branded PDF reports, and a monthly strategy call.

What if I'm too busy to take more leads?

You can pause campaigns or adjust their budgets as your workload changes. Automatic budget changes based on Google Calendar are not currently offered.

Included Features

What are the weekly social posts?

Ads and Combined include 4 social captions each week, ready for you to post on Facebook or Instagram. We use your voice profile and real job or review details when available; otherwise we prepare helpful service content. Captions arrive in your dashboard on Mondays. Image suggestions are not finished images, and these posts are not automatically published. GBP-only includes Google profile posts instead.

What are the weekly blog posts?

Ads and Combined include one blog draft each week, delivered to your dashboard and email for your own website. Review the details before publishing. Connected WordPress publishing is optional. GBP-only does not include website blog drafts. Content can support your website, but rankings, traffic and enquiries are not guaranteed.

What is the contractor landing page?

Every contractor gets their own public landing page at madgiant.marketing/c/[your-business]. It's your trade, your service area, your voice, plus your real Google rating and review count. Your weekly social posts link back to it, and the page captures leads through a phone-forward form. You don't need a separate website to benefit, but if you have one, our blog posts help it rank in Google.

Do you show me what my competitors are running?

This one is built but not switched on yet. It reads Meta's public Ad Library, and Meta requires a one-time identity verification on our side before granting access. We're working through that. When it clears, you'll get a weekly delta report on what other contractors in your area are running: their messaging angles, ad styles, and who just changed strategy. It turns on automatically, with nothing for you to do, and we won't show you a number until it's a real one.

What is revenue attribution?

It closes the loop between ads and booked jobs. When you mark a lead as converted in Mad Giant (say, a $12,000 roof job), we send that revenue event straight back to Meta from our server (no browser, no ad-blockers, no missing data). Over a few weeks Meta's algorithm learns which ad creatives, angles, and audiences produce real booked jobs, not just cheap leads. Your dashboard shows cost per booked job, not just cost per lead. This is the feature that separates real ad programs from Boost Post tinkering.

What is MACA?

Multi-Angle Campaign Automation supports ongoing creative optimisation. Meta delivers eligible ads unevenly and comparisons are observational. Ads with little spend have insufficient delivery to assess. We review performance after enough spend, time and conversion delay; spending around 2-3 times an agreed target lead cost without a lead flags review, not proof an ad is bad. Broken forms, incorrect destinations, unapproved creative, policy issues and exhausted spend caps require immediate action. Budget changes stay within your approval.

Does automated follow-up (SMS + email) come included?

Eligible new enquiries can receive follow-ups through approved, configured channels with the required recipient consent. SMS availability depends on sender approval and setup. Replies, contacted status and channel opt-outs stop the applicable follow-up; quiet hours can delay texts.
